Perfect Vegan Jerk Chicken!

I had the vegan jerk chicken and it was 10/10 perfect. Perfect flavor, perfect portion, perfect temperature. Seems like a really nice restaurant too, would like to go back when they’re playing live music.

Pros: Tasty meal, Good portions, Several vegan options

Cons: Expensive

Amazing Food and drinks!

My partner and I went to this restaurant last night and OMG it was amazing! The service was phenomenal, the drinks were amazing and the food was honestly so tasty and flavorful. I had the Rum Punch that they're known for at it didn't disappoint. I will 100% order it again-- and I don't even like rum! Also, I had the Curry Grit Cake Medley and my partner had the Vegan Jerk Chicken. I really recommend but beware-- if you go for dinner it is kind of upscale and fancy!

Pros: Tasty vegan options, Great alcoholic drinks

Cons: A little expensive, specially for the Vegan Jerk, Cornbread isn't vegan, No vegan appetizers

Excellent vegan food and on weekends, live jazz

Although this is a regular restaurant that serves meat dishes, their vegan entrees are not an afterthought but are highlighted in a separate section on the menu. There are always three vegan entrees, plus vegan appetizers and specials, and multiple vegetarian choices. The cuisine is Southern Soul Food/Caribbean. I have eaten here dozens of times and always been impressed. At times it can get crowded and the service can be slow, and it's not a place to grab a quick bite -- better for a leisurely dinner. Several nights a week they have live music in the main room, and on occasion a band in the back room (sometimes for a small entrance fee if the band is top-level professional). Music is always excellent, usually jazz trio or quartet. If you're looking for a moderately expensive place for a nice night out, you won't be disappointed.
