Meh - Edit
We love a fully vegan restaurant but it leaves something to be desired. We got their buffalo nuggets, pepperoni pizza, and a Caesar salad. The dressings were really good and flavorful, the lettuce in the salad was crisp. The nuggets were rubbery and the vegan cheese was gritty. Decently priced though.

Love supporting this business - Edit
Two dishes that ALWAYS hit here: the cheesy onion fries (think In-N-Out animal fries) and the spicy sausage pizza. It took us a while to try the spicy sausage pizza, but it’s our go-to now (and we add more chili crisp at home when needed). We like eating at Allie’s for the same reason we like eating at Boots. Like other reviews have mentioned, sure, the food is a bit bland, but we LOVE a 100% vegan restaurant and believe in voting with our dollar and supporting ethical businesses. The weekly special is usually phenomenal!!

The kind of place I am happy to support - Edit
Quiet weekend evening visit. Really enjoyed the walnut cranberry salad, would definitely recommend.
Read moreAlso ordered the Hot Mess pizza based upon reviews, and honestly was a little underwhelmed (although I liked it more cold, the next day on a long car ride home). The flavors were lacking, I definitely would have added more Frank’s hot sauce. Next time I will get a pizza with more vegetables. And I will be back when I visit Spokane.
Pros: Vegan restaurant, Good people

Thankful for this place - Edit
Spokane isn’t rich in vegan options, so I’m so happy that Allie’s exists. I went to school in Pullman many years ago and I’d make special trips up just to finally have some delicious vegan food.
Read moreI went back a few weeks ago and was sad that they discontinued weekend brunch.
We got a walnut cranberry salad with feta which was delicious, cheesy breadsticks which were pretty good, and the chic bacon ranch pizza which was sadly bland. It tasted like it needed salt and punchier flavors. The pizza was disappointing but I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and order something different!

Unpretentious, solid vegan pies - Edit
Solid menu of pizza options, from traditional to fusion takes. We enjoyed the pepperoni and Hawaiian, both of which are made with the new in-house recipe.

Would like to try again - Edit
We tried the chick bacon ranch pizza and honestly felt it was lacking in a bit of flavour. The mac and cheese was amazing though! We would definitely give them another shot to try something else, we might’ve just ordered wrong!

Great meal even better left overs - Edit
Just up the road from Sacred Heart hospital Spokane, walking distance in fact. Definitely needed a good meal and was not disappointed. As a family we shared the Chix strips, Hot Mess pizza, and bread sticks. We still ended up with left overs for our drive home which were awesome. We will return.

I have gone here so many times I stopped counting. Their Wednesday sandwich specials have a wide variety and always tasty. A couple of my favorites are the artichoke Spinach dip, the Thai peanut pizza, and the cheesecake.

Solid vegan option for the area - Edit
We got two pizzas, the artichoke dip, and the cinnamon twists. The pizzas and artichoke dip were good. The cinnamon twists unfortunately were not good. It was basically pizza dough and lacked the sweetness and cinnamon that you’d expect from cinnamon twists. Not a fulfilling dessert at all. I would come back for the pizza.

Disappointing - Edit
I’m giving a 3 because maybe my experience would have been different if it was in person. I ordered online and it was a bit of a mess (order wise). I ordered Hawaiian and there was only pineapple on it. I also didn’t receive the sauce included with the cheese bread nor the additional sauce I paid extra for. Overall very disappointing for a delivery order while I was in town for a wedding.

Vegan Food Wonderland - Edit
Allie's: Where veggies go from "meh" to "OMG!"
Read moreSo, my wife and I stumbled upon this vegan paradise in Spokane - turns out, moving to the area was basically a culinary upgrade!
Food: Allie's menu is like a vegan carnival for your taste buds! Say goodbye to yawn-inducing salads and "dull-fu". We're talking about pizzas that moonlight as works of art, appetizers so special they could write their own memoirs, and desserts that can make you forget dairy ever existed. The wild mushroom pizza? It's like a party in your mouth where everyone's invited. And the orange chicken? If I close my eyes, I'm practically in pretend omnivore heaven - and that cheesecake? So luscious it's got me questioning if it's secretly whipped up by wizards.
Service: These folks at Allie's aren't just vegan-food aficionados; they're also champions in the friendliness department. Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if they moonlight as happiness experts. They treat us like vegan VIPs every time we visit, and the wait? Well, it's like they're cooking up a masterpiece with every order. Not quite fast food, but hey, Picasso didn't rush his art either. Plus, the bonus cookies and cake? It's like they're trying to sweeten our lives as much as their treats!
Bottom line: Allie's is like the vegan roller coaster of Spokane - and I'm willing to road trip from Sandpoint just for a slice of that plant-based wonderland.
Pros: Best Vegan Pizza Options, Great Cheesecake, Orange "Chicken"
Cons: Poor aesthetics inside

Pizza is still great, but the rest is not as good as it once was. - Edit
I absolutely love this place and it really pains me to give Allie's anything other than 5 stars, but over the last year or so me, my wife, and a few of our friends have all noticed a drop in quality of the food. I've been eating here regularly since 2017, and it's just not the same anymore. To be clear, the pizza is still fantastic, so if you're looking for vegan pizza, you can't go wrong.
Read moreHowever, the other menu items and breakfast items are simply not as good, and the specials and new additions are angling more and more toward junk food (for example, "dad bod" fries). The weekly specials and monthly breakfasts used to be my favorite part of Allie's, but increasingly they use store-bought protein, bread, and cheese, smaller portions and higher prices. I get that Not every special can be a home-run, and that inflation sucks, but when I look at the Instagram post for the special, more often than not I go "eh" these days. Not to be that guy, but often times it's something that my wife and I could just make ourselves, and for less money.
I wish there was a way to say to a restaurant "hey, you used to be better than this" without coming off as a stuck-up, entitled customer, but that's what me and a couple people I know are feeling. I still eat here, but less often, and mostly just the pizza.

The BEST! - Edit
Allie's deserves an award, for sure! Not only for great food but the best service we have ever had. We ordered a Falafel Bowl (which was sooooo good) and a pizza but made GF. They had messed up the pizza and put the gluten pepperoni on it. My husband can have some gluten so we said it was no biggie, I just couldn't try it. They told us they already have a new correct one in the oven for us, gave us the messed up one free and took 10% off our bill. Like, nobody treats you this good! So, we had pizza for a couple days and a great experience. And like I said, the food was super delicious, too!
