Beggars can’t be choosers? - Edit
In this veritable vegan desert, one necessarily lowers one’s standards. But flavorless fare at island cost oughtn’t go without mention, methinks. The mixed vegetables with tofu was the blandest dish I’ve had in recent recollection. On the plus side, the service was excellent & the view unimpeachable.

My wife got a pork dish and swapped out the pork for tofu and they made it vegan.
Fried rice was bomb!
Also, the menu was clearly labeled

When visiting the island, we came back here for seconds. Vegan items are clearly labeled and more can be accommodated. There were so many options.
Read moreI can’t remember everything we got between the two nights, but it did include the fresh rolls, pineapple rice thing, drunken noodles, and pad thai.
We did need to remind that vegan was no fish sauce of egg to one server. But I would still go. They were super nice and helpful.

We loved Alisa Thai. They are very accommodating to vegans and also some allergies we had, such as gluten and peanut.
Read moreWe ordered the pad see ew, spring rolls, pineapple fried rice (that came in a pineapple...so good), Tom Kha, avocado sushi rolls and cucumber rolls. All of them were really good. The waiter really took the time to explain which things were vegan and also, which had nuts, which a couple of us are allergic to. We will absolutely go back the next time we visit Kauai.
