Great Bao Burger and fried "Calamari" - Edit
Tried the Bao Trio, with vegan "Pork Belly" which was absolutely amazing. The mix of soft, sweet Bun with crunchy, savory fillings is so fire. I also had a taste of the Hokkaido Curry which was the perfect soul pleasing food for a cold winter day.

It's a bit more on the expensive site but absolutely worth it.

Good Food Busy Place - Edit
We had Dinner at Ahimsa and were very pleased with the options aswell as the food itself. Sadly the place was extremly busy and noisy (definitley not the place for volume sensitive people!). Maybe check for better sound insulation?😄The food came quickly, yet the waitresses were not very attentive. Maybe we'll try again in summer to sit outside in order to escape the noisiness.

I have visited this place often. The food and the drinks are delicious., the ambience is modern but cozy. The staff is great and had an answer to all my questions.

The food was incredible!! The fried "squid" and "pork belly" were just like the real thing in texture and taste 😋 And the sushi was an explosion of flavours in your mouth 😋 Can't wait to get back to Munich to visit this place again 😍

Read moreEinziger Kritikpunkt: Unser Tisch war "nur" für 90 min reserviert. Das ist kein Problem zum Essen, da man seine Gerichte schnell bekommt, aber ein entspanntes Ausklingen des Abends mit ein paar Getränken (und evtl. einer Nachspeise) wird eher schwierig.

Cons: Zeitdruck (Tisch wird schnell wieder vergeben)

The Ramen Bowl was very delicious, i had seitan "duck" which was also insanely good. As apatizer the baobuns and also the "calamari" tasted sooo good! Recommend 10/10!!

Expensive hit or miss experience - Edit
Found our visit to Ahimsa a bit underwhelming tbh, first of all the restaurant is teeny tiny and a bit too cozy for my taste, and prices are very exaggerated. My friend's "hokkaido curry" was super delicious, the ramen bowl (what's that even supposed to mean) I ordered was not really worth 15,50€ as there was nothing special or outstanding to it, just a noodle soup with a well-seasoned broth and some veggies (I had one snap pea, 2 pieces of broccoli and 3 leaves of spinach in there.... and there was peanuts at the bottom of my bowl, too, pretty random ingredients if you ask me). Also didn't like the mushrooms (too dry and tough) and the tofu (consistency is too hard for my taste). The 2 mochi ice cream dessert for 5,50€ was ridiculously overpriced, better buy a pack of vegan little moons passion fruit flavour at a supermarket and you'll get 6 of them. The only good thing was the perfect matcha latte and my company.

We tried the vegan calamari,crunchy avocado and spring rolls as starters and had some sushi, udon and ramen as main. Everything tasted amazing. I especially enjoyed the calamari. Instead of vegan duck I would recommend going for mushrooms with the mains.

A wonderful experience - Edit
The restaurant in a nice munich area offers delicioous food! It really isn´t cheap, but worth every Euro! Everything we ate (which was quite much^^) was perfect, especially the sushi and the vegan duck. If you´re a vegan and looking for a great place to eat - try it!
