Yagan Square, William St, Perth, Western Australia, 6000

Serves meat, vegan options available. Poke bowl (raw fish) eatery but you could make your own bowl or choose from vegetarian set which consists of fried tofu, seaweed salad, edamame, radish, beet, spring onion, sweet potato, cucumber ribbons, sesame seeds, and chili powder (can be made vegan). Ask for vegan sauce. Open Mon-Wed 11:00am-8:00pm, Thu-Sat 11:00am-10:00pm, Sun 11:00am-8:00pm.

Simple and filling - Edit

Ordered: vegetarian (easily made vegan by choosing a vegan sauce to go with it) poke bowl.

Stopped by here for a late lunch today after previously seeing this place and wanting to try the veg option.
This chain says that there may be other poke bowls in the city but they offer the largest. The bowl wasn't as large as I thought it would be but it was definitely large enough to be filling. Good selection of veggies, though I wish they'd been a bit more generous with their servings.

Really liked the slight chewiness of the tofu and thought that the sauce mixed well with the overall taste of the bowl.

There are other value for money veg*n options close to Perth city so $15 for the set-meal was a bit pricey for me personally, but Ahi Poke offers perhaps one of the more healthier options so if you happen to be in the area, definitely pay a visit to either the Yagan Square or Mill Street locations.

Pros: Great location, Fairly healthy option (sans the sauce)

Cons: Pricey considering the bowl was all veg
