So the vegan Burggasse breakfast is *kinda* underwhelming, considering the strong competition in the Spittelberg area. I liked the Röstis most, the selfmade hummus tasted like nothing. The porridge was also either made with water or some organic watery milk.
But the Sachertorte? Wow. Took me back right into my childhood. It's vegan ans glutenfree, soft but not brownie like! The apricot jam! The rich ganache! Exactly how I like it.
The crumble was pretty good too, I love the sour rhubarb paired with the sweet shortbread.

This place is not ready for vegans - Edit
We went there for brunch and the place looks very and is quite crowded. The staff is also very welcoming and helpful, but the food was sadly straight up bad. We had the vegan breakfast which was entirely tasteless. We told the waitress who brought us the pancakes as compensation, which was very friendly, but they were extremely basic and uninteresting as well. We were surprised to find an cafe in this area, which is that unprepared to accommodate vegan customers.
