Best Place for Vegans in Dingle! - Edit

We are vegans and in our two weeks in Dingle the Adh Danlann Gallery Cafe was definitely the best place for food! Suitable for vegans: It has three vegan options, which is more than you can hope for in Dingle... The café is quiet and homely, situated above a little shop and run by a very friendly couple. We ate a delicious Borsh soup and the vegetarian dish of the day, which was a ratatouille with couscous. The soup was served with bread and houmous and the ratatouille was delicious, made from homegrown vegetables. I will recommend this place to everyone going to Dingle, whether they are vegan or not!

Not to miss! - Edit

Thank you for the delicious lunch. The proof of the pudding is in the eating. We didn't eat pudding, but what we eat was absolutely tasty and fresh. When you go to Dingle, you have to see the dolphin, and you have tot eat at 'Ádh Dánlann'! P.s the live music accompanied by the proprietor practicing the pipes downstairs adds to the wholesome charm.

Nice vegan options - Edit

I had the vegan options for the day, beet and carrot soup, rice and veg curry. This is a nice little cafe run by a sweet couple. Check it out when you're in Dingle.

Tasty homemade food - Edit

Eating at the gallery cafe literally felt like going into a family home for a homey lunch. The cafe is located above a curio shop in a hidden street of Dingle. It is owned and manned by a friendly couple who made every effort to make sure we had the best possible experience. They chatted with us and confessed that as soon as we arrived they went out to their organic garden to pick the vegetables for our salad. Needless to say, the salad was wonderful.
The cafe consists of a handful of tables, and the daily-changing menu is vegetarian, but vegan friendly. We had a tasty Russian-style beet soup, ratatouille with couscous, and the highlight of our meal, a slice of a delicious 100% homemade apple pie.
Overall, we had a very pleasant experience at the cafe and felt the fresh, home cooked meal we got was a great value for our money. If you're vegan or vegetarian and in the Dingle area, I definitely recommend eating here.

Pros: Homey, Fresh, Varied menu

Cons: limited menu, simple food

If you are in Dingle, you MUST have a meal here. The couple who own the place are simply wonderful, friendly people who will talk your ears off if you let them. There are only a handful of tables, because much of the space is dedicated to a studio and a store. On first seeing the food, we didn’t think it was anything noteworthy. However, we changed our minds after the first bites. Wow! It was so fresh and flavorful! Amazingly, two of our party said it was some of the best they’ve ever had!

Pros: Friendly hosts, Delicious food, Inexpensive

A great find! - Edit

Came across this great cafe upstairs over a shop/gallery. The gentleman cooked us a home made vegan curry over rice that was served with a home made chutney and a salad, picked fresh from his garden. It was delicious and very welcome after travelling and eating out in restaurants for days, more like going to a friends house for a home cooked meal! Highly recommended

Great little place - Edit

Eating at Danlann was like eating at someone's house where they prepared home cooked meals. Though the menu is not expansive, what is offered is delicious. We had a vegan veggie ratatouille dish served over rice. Unfortunately, there weren't any vegan desserts.

Pros: friendly staff, nice vibe, good value

Cons: no vegan desserts, few vegan options

Wonderful atmosphere, super nice food - Edit

Being in Dingle me and my partner only accidenly came accross this cosy place in the top of a small house. The food we have ordered was fantastic, cooked by the owner himself with self-grown ingredients. The maindish comes with salad - two out of three offered meals were vegan, vegetarian are all of them.
I will definitely go there again, whenever I am around : )

Pros: fresh and self-grown ingredients, delicious meals, cosy atmosphere and the very nice owner himself

Little Gem - Edit

My Mum, Dad, myself and my dog were able to enjoy the fabulous homemade Tomato Soup with homemade bread and amazing freshly baked Bakewell Tart with Icecream, in the garden where all the ingredients are grown. My Mum also got gluten free bread.

Pros: I could see where the tomatoes were grown, Enthusiastic owner, I love the rustic setting and the my dog was allow
