I got the tofu potato tacos and they were so wet and soggy I could only eat a few bites. They were also bland, like the only seasoning they put on it was a bottle of turmeric.
Read moreI also ordered online and showed up like 10 min after it said it would be ready and still has to wait about 5 minutes to get my food even though the place was deserted.
I was really disappointed with this place, but the coffee was good. Maybe just don’t order the tacos.

Every time I’d order online I’d wait in the separate room looking at my food alone. Would wait 5-10 minutes for them to come give me my food. They were never busy either. They knew someone was coming to pick it up but it was almost like they didn’t care.

Great Breakfast tacos - Edit
Tried the breakfast tacos today and they were good. Husband felt that were kinda spicy but he enjoyed them. After ordering today noticed that they posted that they will be closing down effective on December 12 . I'm Not sure if plans of another location.

Pumpkin spice latte is DELISH. Every baked good I’ve tried is to die for. The waffles make my mouth water just thinking about them. Outdoor seating fun. Great for a dog on a leash!

I've been here a few times, each time the food has been really good. I've had breakfast tacos, the waffle, the not so cuban. All very tasty! And the space it's in is really neat - made out of shipping containers. Definitely worth a try!

This is a great place for coffee and a quick breakfast. The location is very cool, as the shop is part of a small complex composed of repurposed shipping containers. The Epic Breakfast Bagel Sandwich was wholly satisfying, with very tasty tofu scramble, avocado and cheese. The vanilla iced latte I got was sweet and creamy - everything I want in a latte. It was so good, I ordered a second one to-go for later.

My hot jackfruit panini was great. The breakfast tacos and sweet potato wedges fell flat. I'm not a picky eater and I generally love tofu scramble, but sadly what I picked up was flavorless and cold. The atmosphere is pretty cute and curbside pickup was convenient.

We tried the 2 signature burgers and the BBQ jackfruit sandwich with pineapple coleslaw as well as the Brunch Avo Toast. The BBQ sandwich was by far the best tasting and more bang for your buck because it’s larger in size and comes with a side of potato salad whereas the burgers are small and do not come with a side. The 2 burgers had great flavor and sauces however the size was half the size of a regular burger so 2 small burgers (more like sliders) would fill 1 person but each burgers is $8.50. They do offer 3 burgers for $20 and that would be filling for 1 hungry person or 2 not so hungry people. The potato salad with the BBQ sandwich was creamy and delicious! The avocado toast was also amazing with the cheese tofu! However the bacon did not taste like bacon or really like anything it just added a crunchy texture. Overall very good! The BBQ sandwich really made the experience worth it!

Best avocado toast I've had in DFW. Also 5am Drip is located in an eco-friendly building. Gravel parking lot (so there's less runoff), solar panel roof, and the building is made mostly of used shipping containers.

I was craving BBQ and the BBQ sandwich definitely hit the spot! The Latte was amazing and great flavored potato salad. Staff were all sweet, very accommodating. Can’t wait to come back!

We've had all the burgers and BBQ sandwiches, and 5am is the REAL deal. Hand-crafted everything, and even the lemonade is amazing! The staff is friendly and super-attentive. Curbside service is super efficient. The patio is so nice when the weather is good. Prices are reasonable. It's just SO. GOOD.

5am Drip has so many wonderful and delicious vegan options! I love that they source some of their bread from Planted Bakery. My food and drink were so tasty and the staff were so friendly and sweet. My omni friend loved her toast and said she preferred the vegan chorizo on it over a meat kind. Everything was fresh and flavorful! I would highly recommend!

I really like this place. The food is delicious. I recommend the Smoked Bandito! I'm not a big coffee person, so I didn't try the coffee. The location being within a conglomerate of shipping containers is really cool. It's a great place to do some work. Indoor and outdoor seating. I will definitely be back!
