alright

ethiopian cuisine is a classic for us vegans, and this is no exceptions with ample options available. the vegan combo for 2 is plentiful, but we didn't find it too flavorful. the flavors felt more muted and mild.
the interior was charming and we were served warmly. however, this wasn't the best we've had in comparison to other places even within the area.

Deeeelicious vegan combo

Ethiopian food is one of my favorites, and Habesha did not disappoint. The vegan plate was delicious.

Ethiopian cuisine is a welcomed departure from the usual restaurant fare

This Fairview Park restaurant was established in 2020 on Cleveland’s west side, not far from Kamm’s Korners.
The presentation was wonderful to behold. Our two orders were combined on one platter lined with tiff-based bread .
We enjoyed lentil-filled triangle pastries for our appetizers. To veganize this option, skip the mayo-based dipping sauce.
Our entrees were a ground chickpea paste seasoned just right with berbere spices and sautéed carrots and green beans in a lightly spiced turmeric sauce. The platter included salad and barley-and-teff bread strips for creating portions.
The service was excellent. The food was fresh and delicious.

Pros: Unusual ethnic cuisine , Delicious seasonings , Good service

Cons: Water not included with the meal.
