Great vegan meatballs - Edit
I had the vegan hero with marinara & veg mozzarella. Three large, house made meatballs were tucked into a generous piece of crispy bread and baked with the cheese and sauce on top. I’m impressed with their vegan meatballs, great flavor and a little spicy.

I tried the traditional (vegan) meatball sub with vegan cheese. It was large and had great crispy bread. I would go back for sure! 😊

Gooey, melty panini - Edit
We were going to eat at The Sudra next door, but due to a cashew allergy we went to 24th & Meatballs instead. Their menu is clearly labeled V for vegan, and the employee told us their "nuts" label meant walnuts. Their vegan cheese is Daiya. The guy said their vegan pesto is made with walnuts and arugula, I believe.
Read moreWe tried the vegan panini with tomato sauce and the vegan hero sandwich with tomato sauce. The bread on the hero was soft and bouncy (they said it's made fresh daily), but the panini sandwich was better! The ciabatta bread on the panini was perfectly toasted and the "meatballs" inside are crushed and melted with lots of yummy Daiya. Would be a good sandwich to take to-go since it stays together pretty well.
They have lots of other options for meatball dishes: pasta, polenta, sliders(!), and other sandwiches. I'd definitely eat here again!
Pros: Daiya cheese, menu clearly labeled, outdoor seating
Cons: some confusion with our order, had to remake dish, loud inside
