British Shepherd's Pie

1 vegan pie crust
1 cup vegan brown gravy
4 servings mashed potatoes
1 small package seitan
1/2 cup peas
1/2 cup diced carrots
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup water
1/4 teaspoon garam masala
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon worchestershire sauce
pinch of cayenne pepper
pinch of salt


Bake crust per instructions on the package. Leave in whatever baking dish you plan to use.

Prepare mashed potatoes.

Prepare gravy according to package instructions, or purchase ready made one jar.

Mix filling ingredients together in a bowl.

Then transfer to the prepared pie crust.

Or if you choose not to use a pie crust, just place the fillings straight into your dish.

Top with the mashed potatoes. Sprinkle additional paprika on top.

Bake at 375 F degrees for 30 minutes or until filling is hot.
