Pumpkin in Syrup

    Carve pumpkins into slim slices and spread under the cooking pot.
    Cover pumpkin slices with brown sugar, and let pumpkin extract water -- wait for around two hours. If there is small quantities pumpkin water you can add additional half glass of water.
    Cook pumpkins with water and sugar over a low heat until content becomes transparent, around one hour.
    Remove from stove when content is getting soft -- check with stick a knife in pumpkin slice.
    Dress with crushed walnut and tahini. Serve with syrup.


    750 gram pumpkin
    2 glass brown sugar
    1/2 glass water
    crushed walnut
    tahini (sesame butter)
