Ceviche de Mango

Ceviche de Mango


1 large red onion, thinly sliced
2 large ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted and diced
4 limes, juice of
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 serrano chile, seeded and finely chopped
1 small handful cilantro leaves, finely chopped


Put the red onion in iced water for 10 minutes while you prepare the other ingredients.

Place the diced mangoes in a bowl and add lime juice and salt.

Add the chile, then add the onion and add it along with the cilantro leaves.

Stir everything gently to combine, and place in the fridge for 5 minutes to chill and marinate.

Serve in individual large glasses or bowls.
