Pueblo del Rio Octo 1, Dominical, Costa Rica
excellent vegan food
These guys are doing well: bringing vega(n) food into a village that is overcrowded with bad standard food. The menu is surprising tastful. I tried the glutenfree pancakes and the veggie rolls, with ginger tea! Delicious!
Baru Road, San Salvador, Dominical, Costa Rica
paradise of raw food
The mao is misleading... It is NOT in Dominical, but along the 243 road to San Isidro des General. But it is worth to take the bus, do the trip, and walk the rough road to this paradise full of raw food!

taste & look before you book
The map is misleading. It is NOT in Manuel Antonio, it is NOT in Quepos, it is NOT a restaurant, it is NOT an eco- community, and it is NOT pure vegan nor vegetarian. In fact it is an expat runned temporary B&B in a tiny off road village, that also serve fish and meat. There are better alternatives nearby the main route, especially around Dominical.

the best vegetarian stop in La ForTuna
...but there is only one :-)
I stayed here fir some nights. The cabin with own kitchen was OK.
It is not a real restaurant, but the juices and snacks and salades are OK. Ask foe cleaning the pan, because once it tasted to fish...

downtown Montezuma, Montezuma, Costa Rica
good for snack; pass for dinner
the veggieburger is a nice starter, with a salad. The burger needs tofu or other proteins in it to be more nutritious and enriching. The salad has to be more fresh. Prices were inexpensive, comparing with the other beach sodas and restaurants,

be happy that there is one in town
I have got lunch and dinner twice. When I arrived the television was on in this tiny spot. The menu looks extended but keeps within the borders of a snack & juice bar. Learning from other reviews i ordered mixed salad and veg curry with rkce. They bring me a green salad and the veg curry, and i had tp wait for the white (elas) rice. It tasted well. The other day i tried the hamburger. It tasted to fish oil. Sadly there's no place else in town for balanced non-meat meals.
