The store is quite pleasant, but somewhat small. Descent produce selection and a large supplement area, with an expert in house. But, the real draw is the super hot raw food chef, Sara. First time I walked in the store I was like daaaammn. And she can make some damn good juices too. Stop by sometime if your int he area, I promise its worth it.

I like to help out the food co-op as much as possible. Greenlife just seems to put them to shame though. Everything is great, its just not that large of a selection. They need to have some pre-made organic deli kinda stuff. Great location good people. Support them over earthfare.

Laughing Seed is an absolute must for any visit to asheville. Especially for you raw foodies. Everything on the menu is quite edible. They have a raw lunch special that comes with a raw desert. The hempnut burger is awesome, so are the reasonably priced teas. The smoothies and tonics are a little pricey, but worth it. Beautiful place to eat outside.

Good food, great beer, nice atmosphere, open late. But its not quite there. The hummus is way too garlicy, and most entrees are just not exactly on point. Great for vegetarians after the bars close, but given the choice I would much rather go down the street to laughing seed.

When in asheville, this is where you should get your groceries. Earth-Fare is nice, and I'd like to support the food co-op, but green life can't be beat. Great vegan deserts, great organic produce, great sushi, amazing beer selection. Good fish/meat selection, some raw stuff. REALLY COOL VIBES.
