I am interested to where everyone stands with Glycerin and other animal ingredients in non-consumable products, such as soap, shampoo, creams etc etc

How does everyone feel using them? Does it make someone not a vegetarian if they were to use them? Is it a complete no-go zone?

Glycerin is a slaughterhouse product. Using non-consumable products would not, I suppose make one a non-vegetarian, but it is certainly not acceptable in vegan philosophy.

There is such a thing as vegetable glycerin. Look for that on labels...

    Personally, I avoid them.
The thought of washing my body with animal fats does not make me feel very clean.
In fact, it makes me feel like I need to take another shower to wash it all off!

Even before I went vegan, had I know there was animal fats in my soap I would have stopped using it!
