I've recently been diagnosed with functional gastrointestinal disorder after having suffered with bloating and mild stomach cramps at various times of the day. The specialist advised that I was likely eating too much insoluble fibre or that my gut was having trouble digesting insoluble fibre. He advised that the normal course of action would be to refer me to a dietician but that because I am vegan I'd probably be poorly advised so he told me to do my own investigations regarding starting a diet low in insoluble fibre. The trouble is that there seems to be way too much information online and not enough specific to vegans.
Does anyone have a healthy diet-plan for a vegan and low in insoluble fibre? Or simply a list of foods?
Any advice would be much appreciated!
