I'm a new to this site. I joined since i have have a very good friend who is experiencing Alopecia. He lost his hair within the age of 15 and even though it grew back, he dropped it all again at the chronilogical age of 24. He is having a very hard time dealing with it. He seeks mental health treatment and the man is trying his best. Just like a friend, i feel helpless and also help him. If you have any information on what you think would be appreciated contained in being supportive, please let me know??

Hi the help could be provided if you specify what kind of alopecia is he facing. There is nothing to panic there many options like hair transplant, SMP available for such patients. You should specify the problem and extend of baldness clearly to take advise.You can contact dr Aman Dua from AK Clinics, they have free online consultion for such problem.

Advice him to get enough essential fatty acids: Essential fatty acids from walnuts, flaxseeds, fish and avocado are also important for healthy hair.
