    As long as the human species continues to see itself as separate from and superior to all other animals, the killing and torture will continue.

    I examined this in historical detail in one of my books, "The First ISM".

    Yes, let's not forget the trafficking of leather and fur, which should rightfully be called "se animals skin" or things like a "drumstick", which should correctly called, a chicken's leg.

    Such a shame what we do. We share the DNA with these magnificent creatures. I also agree with ahimsa that trafficking farmed animals is no different and the good point you made with the "drumstick" is the chicken's sad. The eating of animals sounds to me that our society has not changed much from the prehistoric times, still considered cannibalism eating the body parts of a living being. Call it what you have to call, drumstick, wings, it is the body parts of an animal, a living being.
