• Vegan Pizza

Pizzeria Gallus is a great place to get vegan pizza in Bled. Over two separate visits we got the vegan pizza, the veggie mexican pizza and the tofu pizza, both with vegan cheese. The vegan pizza is topped with a lot of rocket as the main filler however the vegan cheese they use melts well and is very tasty. The veggie mexican pizza with vegan cheese was our favourite, with just enough spice too make it interesting but not enough to be overwhelming. The Tofu pizza is good as well with the tofu being little scrambled chunks which is better than big slabs. We had some confusion on the second visit with us accidentally ordering the normal mexican pizza, which has chicken on it, with vegan cheese. Also the tofu pizza was missing the tofu. This led to us thinking we had been given the wrong pizzas. As it turns out we made a mistake in not ordering the veggie mexican pizza and they made the mistake of not putting tofu on our tofu pizza. We returned with our two pizzas and together with the waiters worked out what had gone wrong. They were very helpful and changed the pizzas for us free of charge which was fantastic. Altogether the location is excellent with great outdoor views of Lake Bled and the pizza in itself is excellent.
