• Vegan Restaurant / Tea House

This is a modern, upscale vegan restaurant and tea house overlooking River. Not much English but the professional photo menu book of the 60 or so dishes makes it easy to select a variety of dishes. It was nice that there were four of us as we ordered four dishes plus soup. We had a fungus and tuber dish, a meat substitute Pork and Cabbage in a delicious Spicy Sauce, a Stir fried Vegies over Crispy Rice with a delightful sauce, meat substitute and mushroom, a julienne ( angel hair like) potato, green seaweed and hot pepper dish (cold) plus the soft tofu, seaweed and greens Soup. Three of us were not vegetarians but the food was good enough that we managed to finish off everything but the soup. Everything was artfully presented and quite tasty with the Stir Fry dish being our favorite. The bill came to 200 RMB ($32 ) without drinks or dessert.
