Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I feel it is the best diet choice for the earth, for animals and for my health and longevity
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
To support a group that is on the best side of the ledger for the earth, for animals and that promotes a healthier life style and lend a hand in that effort
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Amsterdam, Paris, London, Ireland, The Galapagos, Yosemite, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Jiuzhaigou National Park China and the Cascades. Hope to get to India, Egypt and Africa.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Could probably live on apples and almonds if I had to. Love potatoes and raw salads. Make a real good potato Enchilada dish and Spanish omelette.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
John Grisham for easy reading. Most movies by the good actors.
