  • breathtaking walk to a welcoming place

The bushbar isn't the easiest place to find, we walked uphill lot from Vermont which is the end of the bus line. We needed to ask locals which road to walk up, and it's the last place on that road! But it's a beautiful view from the road. A welcoming crew when we arrived, and the fresh soursop juice is the only I've ever had that tasted like it was a real juice! (Not a sugar milk mix) We had some drinks and hung around playing board games and reading their books and discussing until the main food was ready, a couple of hours later. But we were warned of this when we arrived & offered toasted sandwiches in the mean time & the soup was really yummy when it was ready!! Good value, made from local produce. Really friendly people at the bushbar, in fact the whole neighbourhood is! I would recommend coming here if you are coming to vermont or nearby. Zen told us you can get a taxi up the hill for 10EC too :)
