I love wood-fired pizza and i'm so glad we have a place to get a creative and tasty vegan pizza in downtown Durham! Chef Aaron is vegan and has been doing a nice job at getting creative vegan options on the menu and specials. He created a vegan fresh mozzarella that is delicious, and it is now on the permanent menu on the Vegan Margherita. The daily veggie special is often vegan. A recent special: Vegan dill béchamel base, sliced roasted red potatoes, fennel. Finished with cashew parmesan and Monte Iblei olive oil. yum! update Sept 2017: in addition to their house-made vegan mozzarella added to the permanent menu, they also now have vegan house-made sausage as a topping option!
