• birds in cages & staff eating meat!

Arrived here for lunch at around 1.00pm on 10/1/2018 first thing we see is two birds clearly distressed in cages hanging in front of the restaurant, we then walk in and have to double check we’ve come to the right place as we instantly smell meat! We ask if it’s chay - Vegan and the waitress explains its all the staff having lunch - all eating pork, chicken and fish! Presumably cooked in the ‘vegan kitchen’ very disappointing :( We walked out and found another listing on happy cow for lunch. However all this aside - menu was 100% vegan and looked nice. I’ll return and recommend this place if they release the birds and perhaps eat their own food more discreetly as, as a vegan you dot really want to smell meat as you eat your vegan lunch! Or I don’t anyway..
