A friendly Myanmar owned and run small restaurant/beer bar serving traditional Myanmar-style food with vegan and vegetarian options. Modern Myanmar art hangs from the walls and its often full of Myanmar people eating, drinking, talking as well as western tourists and westerners living in Yangon. The food is non-greasy nor is it overly spicy (just ask them to make it spicier) Many dishes can be prepared as vegetarian even if they are not marked as such in the menu. The staff are gentle and speak enough English. Draft beer is 800k a glass, tea-leaf salad 1000k, rice 500k, main courses 1500-3000k, so reasonably priced. It's alive and down to earth, frequented by local people in the arts scene. The doors are open so there's always air coming in, and the background noise of Mahabudula Road bus stops.. but that's the sound of Yangon :)
