• A Wholesome Dining Experience

Idealite calls itself Malaysia’s 1st wholesome dining place and it's certainly one of my favourite places to eat. When you step inside it certainly looks bright, clean and inviting with crisp white walls, light wooden floors and comfortable seating. Idealite’s philosophy is on tasty, fresh food that is healthy and nutritious. You won’t find white sugar, white salt, MSG, synthetic colourings or preservatives. Instead they use whole grains, brown sugar, rock salt and fruits and vegetables that have been cleaned in an ozone machine to remove chemicals and pesticides. We've tried most things on the menu. Great starters include the veggie sushi of which there are two types, the more traditional type wrapped in nori, or the one that looks more like a popiah (a Chinese spring roll). Mains include a variety of rice and noodle sets. Favourites include eryngii mushroom rice, red curry ramen, green curry rice and vegetarian bak kut teh rice. Another popular dish is the Taiwanese 3 cup chicken and rice set. Obviously there is no chicken in this dish, but delicious mushrooms, vegetables, nicely spiced with red chilli. My husbands favourite is the nasi lemak. Idealite have also made visting a shopping mall a much more pleasant experience for vegetarians/vegans. They have opened a restaurant on the 3rd Floor, Queensbay Mall and the third floor Gurney Plaza. They are certainly spreading the veggie love.
