Most delicious vegan food I have tried in Copenhagen. So good! Tip for people with nut allergies: let the kitchen know in advance, as almost all the dishes this winter (2016/2017) have nuts. We tried the winter dinner menu: the mushroom soup (they took out the nuts for me, but it was still incredible), the aubergine (scrumptious), and the risalamande (special for Christmas, divine and not nearly as heavy as the traditional cream based one - fortunately I can eat almonds). The service was kind and attentive and the interior decor made one feel happy and special, even if the tables were a bit impractical. The only issue was that there was not enough food to fill up some of the guys in our party, maybe partly because they are used to feeling much more full when they eat meat. Some bread (like a gluten free seed-based bread) and pulses (like a bean/split pea/lentil-based side dish for the bread or maybe something olive based like a tapenade) would have really helped to fill up hungry stomachs. As it was, some of the guys ended up eating extra later on. However, everybody, meat-eaters included, agreed that the dinner was absolutely delicious, to the surprise of some of the more sceptical of my meat-eating guests. The wine was also great and for Copenhagen the price was more than fair for such high quality. Highly recommended.
