- Best Vegan Meal in the Area
I've been attending the dinners with my family (or doing takeout) almost every week for more than a year now, and find that the quality and variety of the dishes week after week consistently averages out to excellent. The menu is different every week, so you have to visit the website, get a flyer, or join their meetup.com group to know what's cooking. If you're not interested in joining their meetup.com group, you need to call and make a reservation by Monday morning. Jay (the dinner manager) is very responsive and will usually accommodate late reservations. Chef's Gary and James do an excellent job of putting together a macrobiotic menu that's always fresh and always different. It's always better than I can do at home, even after a trip to the farmers market and all Sunday afternoon to prepare. Well worth the price of admission! Dog food? (Reference to other review.) There's only so much you can do with lentil-loaf to make it look good. I've never tasted anything bad here -- some of the dishes may seem bland to those used to the over-salted, over-sweet world of processed food, but for those who strive to eat healthy, there's no better destination than here for Monday nights!
