The food is great, if a touch pricey, and the staff friendly. I had the nachos recommended and I was not disappointed! The cheesecake was also very tasty. Whilst I'm not normally keen on pubs, and travelling through the red lion downstairs reminded me of that, the actual green lion upstairs is lovely and was exactly like what I wish pubs were like!
