- Awesome spot near Basel's main train station
Located a few hundred meters from Basel's main train station, this restaurant can easily be reached by either foot or tram. It is a great favourite of mine and a few work colleagues and we grab lunch there at least once a week. Aside from their specialty Seitan durum/wraps (with vegan sauces to boot) and cigkofte (a vegan version of kofte) they also regularly have seasonal specialties - and are always happy to make a recommendation or answer your questions! The lunch buffet is has many vegetarian dishes, most of which are also vegan. And at 9.50 CHF per (takeaway) plate combined with the quality, it's easy to see why this is one of my personal favourite lunch places ;-)
