  • A bit strange

We went to this address, as it is good and central in Desenzano, and found that the same establishment went some way up the hill but using slightly different names: the part we went to was called Trattoria Alessi, but it had the same menu as Corte Pozzi. I think it's all the same place. The vegan menu has three dishes: a tomato pie with tofu cheese, wheat pasta with seasonal vegetables, and a vegan burger with potato and vegetables. I had the pie and it was...not a pie. It was a stack of slices of tofu and tomato, with some grilled courgette on the plate too. It was perfectly edible, but it was not a pie and the tofu was in no way cheesy. It was definitely worth €11.50, plus €2.50 cover charge. I would recommend one of the other options in town. Also, no tap water available.
