  • Very pure

We came here for the first time not too long after their opening and wanted to try it out again for a long time, but it was always fully booked when we came here. Last weekend, we tried to book a table again for the same evening but it was fully booked until 8pm. We decided to just go for it anyway and ate really late. We still started with some homemade cocktails: a mango unchained and a piña colada, and got nachos and vegetable crisps with them. Both were approved! As a main, I had the red bean burger with vegan mushroom cream sauce, which was a bit mushy but very pure and tasteful. My partner had the toast avocado with marinated chickpeas and sprouts, which he also liked even though he found the chickpeas a bit too spicy and the oil was dripping from his fingers. I tried some as well and found it tasty, just a little less oil would do the trick. The bread by Broodbroeders was really good as well, by the way. They consciously work with local products and share the stories of some local organisations on their menu. We were looking forward to trying out the tiramisu and the "funky vegan dessert" by Naduah that the people next to us were enjoying a lot, but unfortunately they had just ran out of both. Next time we will have to book earlier!
