- Good food, good atmosphere in Havana Vieja
I spotted the "vegetarian food" sign while walking on San Ignacio and immediately wanted to go there, as it looked different from all the touristy joints... the building is quite run down. The restaurant is on the second floor and has a hippie flair, unlike most paladares and restaurants you will encounter in the area. The owner and his wife are really nice and talked with us for a while. There is no vegan dish per say on the menu, but if you ask for a vegetarian plate without eggs or milk, they'll tell you about their vegan plate, which is quite good. It came with a free mojito and a coffee. I would definitely go back there.
