  • Nice curry nice atmosphere

We were happy to stumble upon this little restaurant as there aren't that many vegan options in this part of town. FOOD: Not your typical Japanese curry but not really Indian curry either - something else. The curry was quite spicy, which I like. You also get a decent portion of rice and the usual free water so your mouth won't be on fire or anything! ;) Lots of different vegetables on top of your curry and some pickles on the side (see picture). They also have a sandwich with egg salad, so that one's not vegan but maybe vegetarian - please inquire. Other than that they have a salad which could be vegan but I forgot to ask so I don't know - please inquire. They have some vegetarian sweets (not vegan). I only know of 1 item on the menu that definitely contains meat (the meat curry). SERVICE: I like that it's a one person restaurant and the service was fast enough considering. It's nice to see your meal be made right in front of you. ATMOSPHERE: Cosy little place. 3~4 counter seats and Japanese seating in the back for about 4~6 I'd say. TOTAL: I'd give it 3.5 stars: minus one for the meat served and minus 0.5 for the limited options. But the options are limited for everyone because it's just a one person restaurant and they are trying to make it accessible for vegans so I'll give them the 0.5 back and that makes 4 stars in total!
