  • Nice place near downtown Padua

I can recommend this place. As the other reviewer said, they recently moved to this location a few steps north of the river that demarcates the old town from the station area. It's a bit hidden in a side street: look for the large Brazilian place and go around the corner there. They feature a weekly changing menu of appetisers, side dishes and main courses and 10 or so fixed side dishes. Vegan options are clearly marked - I'd say 60 to 70% is vegan, the rest is ovo-lacto. It's not inherently clear what counts as side dish and what is a main (to judge the portion size you can expect), so better ask if unsure. Expect to pay around 20 Euros for the food, more if you go for dessert. Everything I had was very good. There's a fixed spot for a band at one side of the relatively large room; they also had some announcements for other special vegetarian-themed events taking place.
