Happy Cow does not allow 5-star ratings for meat-serving restaurants, but we loved the simplicity of this little pub! They offer two daily-handcrafted soups, both served in bread bowls. You choose between one meat or one vegan/vegetarian option, with each meal totaling 1850 ISK (we paid roughly $35 for two bowls.) After choosing, your meal is immediately brought to your table. I especially enjoyed the quick service. The restaurant itself sits atop a cute, shop-lined street, and the large widows allow for perfect people watching. They also serve local Icelandic beer on tap. No wi-fi, not handicap friendly, pay at counter
