- Great fermented food!
Black Sheep cafe is an awesome place, even for Berlin standards. Their menu is not large (I had three dishes to choose from) and at first glance I did not even find it particularly appealing (the sandwiches were filled with Mac n cheeze or Seitan, Sauerkraut and cheeze), but I was proven wrong: My main issue was that the foods don't sound very fresh, but they are served with a side salad with lots of different greens and even self made sprouts. Also they tasted really great. The absolute best part, and the reason why you should go out of your way to eat here is the Kimchi and Sauerkraut they offer: It is self made and tastes divine. They also offer kombucha to drink. The owners are exceptionally friendly and very welcoming as well!
