• Liquium: mirabilia (formidable)!

Another excellent find, thanks to the Happy Cow app! My partner and I had lunch here whilst visiting the Palais Beaux-Arts in Lille, which is a short walk away. I had the flavousome pumpkin soup as a starter and my partner had the winter salad which also came as a main and was a wonderful assortment of flavours and textures. We both had the potato and kidney bean casserole for a main, which came with brocolli and the generous portions were hearty, tasty and filling. The tarte citron for dessert was wonderful. We chose bottles of kriek and a blonde beer from the drinks list and both were very good. The surroundings were very comfortable and pleasant and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty, nutritionally very well-balanced and incredibly good value. The music was at a good level to be unobtrusive, yet adding to the ambiance. In short, a completely satisfying lunch and we will definitely eat here again when we go back to Lille. Updated from previous review on Wednesday October 21, 2015
