  • Great Dinner! Creative and Delicious.

I visited Green Peas for dinner. The menu is not large (3 appetizers + 3 mains); however, I felt like trying everything. Each plate had something I'm sure I would've enjoyed. The dishes are well-thought, with some combinations I'd never tried before. Not only that; but they were also delicious. I had the roasted beetroot with horseradish sauce; which came also with wild mushrooms, celery root; and...gray peas, which apparently is something very swedish; and very yummy and chewy. For a dessert (there was just one available), I had some kind of crumble with fennel/raspberry sauce; and parsnip. (You can take a look at the pictures) The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was rather relaxed. Very enjoyable. The only "but" would be the price; since the mains are around 2000 krones (about 22 euros). However, personally, I found it worth it, because of the quality of the ingredients and the creativity of the dishes. Finally, I was told by the staff that during the lunchtime they offer a more affordable menu. However, while I think it must also be yummy; I assume it's probably not as good as the dinner menu. :) All-in-all, I highly recommend this place for dinner if you are in Stockholm (to get there, take the T10 or T11 to Fridhemsplan, and the place is just a 5min. walk from the station). Oh, I forgot to add, it seems they take cash now (I did paid by cash, but I wonder if it's only for dinner?).
