  • Comfy and popular

I had read about this place on happycow, and here's my Crossroads Cafe review. I've been to Joshua Tree twice and stopped in on both trips. On the second trip, the place seemed the same, didn't changed much at all. It's causal and very popular. When you walk in, there is a large menu board to one side, and a ordering counter to the left. The menu offers many breakfast items (with egg and/or dairy). For lunch sandwiches there are 3 vegetarian choices, and you can ask to leave out the cheese. I've had the tempeh reuben, and it was good. I think my mother-in-law had the portobello mushroom sandwich, and she liked it okay.
