- Tasty inventive small plates tapas-style menu
I suggested this because I was meeting a friend in Brixton, and it turned out to be a really creative approach to vegan food. The spicy jackfruit and mushroom tacos had a meaty texture and substantial flavours (recommend them to omnies); the hot dog was exceptionally delicious; the hash was a really good stir-fry (still just a stir-fry, ordered by my mistake); and the Arepa's delight is one of the best tofu scrambles I've ever had. The pie was lovely. I tried to think of a better one, and could only think of my mum's. We didn't manage to finish the coconut slice - but it was at the end of a rather large meal. The decor is nice, the ambience is good, the staff are friendly. Go there. Our bill came to UKP25 each (two plates, dessert, shared bottle of wine) and we were very full and happy. Thoroughly recommend the place.
