UPDATE: Today, 04Feb, 2016, I received a response from the owners regarding my review from last year. (I took a screenshot in case it disappears.) It began with a dismissive statement and progressed into full blown lies. Did they even ready my review? They said that their menu board always includes notifications regarding items which contain gluten and nuts. I took a picture of the menu board; neither was mentioned. You may check the photo for yourself. Then came THIS comment, "We don't appreciate that you were not polite with our staff or kind in your interaction when you were a customer." I was NOTHING BUT polite and patient. Now, a year later, you respond with dishonest rebuttal?! Tell me exactly what I said or did that wasn't polite. I'm waiting... You cannot because you just made that up. And I welcome ANYONE and EVERYONE who was at the festival last year, standing next to me or around me, to confirm this. I have lost ALL respect for this business and its lack of accountability. My honest and fair review has now changed from an average 3-Cow rating to a 1-Cow rating. Shame on you, Eat Vegan Food. I will never patronize your business again. -- They were one of the vendors at the 1st annual AZ Veg Food Fest. They are based out of Flagstaff, AZ, but traveled down to Scottsdale for the event. Being that it was a festival event (long lines, longer waits), I won't put too much rating weight on the service. I had the Tempeh Salad Wrap. A most delicious and flavorful blend of tempeh and other ingredients, wrapped in a delightfully thin (not doughy), crisp, fresh tortilla. It was excellent. I don't recall seeing almonds in the description of this item on their board (It may have been there, I just don't recall seeing it.), which is ok for me, but would've been quite problematic for anyone with nut allergies. There was a problem with my order (I was given the wrong order). But instead of quickly rectifying the situation, I was made to wait another 1/2 hour or more, while people who ordered after me were being given the item that I had ordered. It wasn't until I said something that I finally got my wrap. I was not a happy camper. What I had was really good, therefore, I will try them again in a normal atmosphere, and will update accordingly. (Based on info from their website, they are closed for the season, except for special events - like the Vegfest.) Updated from previous review on Thursday January 15, 2015
