  • An Inconspicuously Vegan Brasserie

I've visited Brasserie Lola many times already. The brasserie feels more like a place where people from the neighborhood would go. With no vegan signs anywhere to avoid scaring people away. :) The menu is not large; but there are plenty of choices for different tastes, such as kebab, pad thai, burgers and sandwiches. There are also "plates of the day" served from Monday to Friday. All food is tasty; but my personal favorite is the lasagna ( too bad its not in their regular menu). The ambience is enjoyable, different from what you get in other vegan places in Paris. The service is attentive, although when it gets packed it could be a bit slow. It opens non-stop from the early morning, which is hard to find (for vegans) in the city. It's a great choice for a quick bite at any time of the day; or for a tea time (my favorite dessert is the "pain perdu").
