  • A hidden gem

This restaurant is in quite a strange location (through an industrial estate, behind a car park), but don't let that put you off. It's under 10 minutes walk from Minami-Machida station (opposite exit from Grandberry Mall) and is definitely worth finding. You can go shopping or catch a film in the local area. They must be doing well as they have recently brought in more seating and expanded the menu. There is a lot of choice including 4 types of pizza, about 8 different roti wraps (the fish one is amazing) , pasta, ramen, salad, curry and a daily plate. Desserts are great too and the last time I went there was a new berry parfait on offer which my friend had and she said it was delicious. There is no English menu, but lots of the items have pictures and the staff can normally explain what things are in English (I believe most of the menu is in Katakana anyway, which is mostly English-import words pronounced in a Japanese way). It would be great if they could make an English menu though to help attract more customers, but maybe due to the area the don't get many English-speaking people in anyway. The service can be a bit slow when they are busy, but they seem to make everything to order so it's understandable. I love the way they have decorated inside, sort of looks like a cool (not twee) grandmother's house with bits and bobs everywhere. A really comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. There is even a garden terrace/hut thing where you can sit and you are allowed to take dogs there. The offer take out and also delivery to the local area. They also have a few products you can buy to take home including veg and their own-made ice cream pots in vanilla and chocolate.
