- good start
l ate here 4 times during my week in DC. I'll be honest, this location is not as good as the Wicker Park location in Chicago. Here, there are a few tables on the main level with most of seating on the basement level. Basement level seemed pretty soul-less. Outdoor seating needs more plants to buffer the table from passers by and provide more privacy. The food was good but not as flavorful as Chicago. Chefs need more training and/or better quality control. In most my dishes, they skimped on the sauces. Why not provide extra on the side for those who want? Bathrooms needed tending. Floors were dirty & tables needed wiping. As far as fast food restaurants go, this is still 5 cows. But I've seen what Native Foods can do, they can do better.
