Traveled down from San Diego to join a (non-vegan) Tijuana friend for lunch. We both enjoyed the food prepared by Ivan (following his Mexican relatives' recipes!) and Boyd (a transplant from Alabama of all places, where vegan eateries are practically nonexistent). I was especially impressed with these young men's dedication to both human and animal rights!
