• A Delicious Discovery!

What a wonderful gem my daughter and I discovered in Mesa. We visited Mesa Arizona for the first time to attend a friend's wedding. While there we saw this cute little cozy cafe and decided to try it for a late breakfast/snack. The staff was warm, friendly, very knowledgeable and passionate about their foods. We had a smoothie, a frozen hot chocolate , a couple of peanut butter cookies and an Issa's magic dessert cup (heaven in a cup). So delicious and nutritious that we returned the next day to have our first vegan experience. We had the Goombah and the Islander vegan burgers and of course another yummy smoothie. What a delicious surprise- who knew vegan could be soooo good!! We also purchased these little oatmeal raw balls to snack on for the plane trip home (sooo good). We went exploring around town and came upon a fun farmer's market where we ran into one of the owner's at a booth selling Issa's Magic Oatmeal. We purchased two flavors which we are enjoying at home in Nebraska. Can't wait to make some of their pancake and muffin recipes with them. I'm sure glad they ship... we will need to order more soon.
