This restaurant was relatively close to where we were staying, so we came here for dinner on an evening in late June. After being seated by charming wait staff I looked at the menu and decided to order the special: spinach tart with vegetables and a Napoli-type sauce. The smoothie I ordered arrived first and was nice, if a little thin. When the tart came I was surprised to see that, rather than a being served as a wedge, it had been cut into little pieces, all of which had little flavour, with only the sauce to give it any taste. The accompanying vegetables were similarly bland. My partner's pasta basilico was tasty but the pasta was overcooked to the point of breaking up and was drowning in sauce, rather than the two components complementing each other. I was also a bit surprised we weren't offered water, because the air conditioning was broken (or something) and it was stiflingly hot inside. I came here alone a week or two later and the staff were obliging although I was there very late. This time I ordered the cream of asparagus soup, which wasi fine. My main, the oyster mushroom and spinach raclette was also OK but not as tasty as I might have wanted for £11.95. I think that the flavour to price ratio here leaves something to be desired.
