- Mediocre food, great juice
I had lunch here recently. The staff were lovely and the place had a pleasant enough atmosphere, but I was very underwhelmed with my meal. I had the cauliflower mac and cheese, and it was very bland. There was some vegan cheese on top, but I'm pretty sure there was nothing cheesy in the sauce, it could definitely have done with some nutritional yeast. On top of that, the pasta at the top was overbaked - hard and chewy. I know the description says "a crunchy baked top", but in a mac and cheese, that should come from the cheese substitute, not from hard pasta. I also had a Beetle Juice - pineapple, mint and apple, and that was a refreshing and delicious combination, and somewhat made up for the blandness of my meal.
